Can the US Government be Run Like a Business?
This week's Democratic Club will feature KCD Club President David O. Porter. David is a former university educator and administrator with a background in political science. He will lead a discussion on whether government can run be like a business.
Please join other Democratic Club members this Friday, January 15 to as we attempt to answer whether a real estate mogul and businessman with no political experience is a rational choice for the President of the United States?
The meeting will take place at the Iron Horse Bar and Grill, at 407 E Sherman Ave in Coeur d'Alene at 12:00 PM. Club meetings take place each Friday.
About David O. Porter
An Idaho native, David O. Porter was educated at the University of Utah and Syracuse University, earning a Ph.D.in political science and economics in 1970. His research focused on topics in public management. He was the first Director of the Idaho Department of Commerce (1982-86), Dean of the School of Business and Public Administration at Cal State San Bernardino and Dean of the School of Management at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
