Tom Hearn, 66, of Coeur d’Alene, will officially announce his campaign for the state legislature at Art Spirit Gallery, 415 Sherman Avenue, on Thursday, January 28th at 11 am. Hearn is running as a representative for position 4B, a seat currently filled by Kathy Sims.
Hearn’s campaign platform will center around shared Idaho values, real support for public education, support for law enforcement and improving mental health. He feels strongly regarding tax reform and vows to fight for continuing to improve the quality of life for the people of Coeur d’Alene.

Tom has lived in Coeur d'Alene for 35 years. He currently holds a seat on the Coeur d’Alene District 271 School Board. His wife, Kathy, is a retired Post Falls school teacher. Tom was a small business owner in Coeur d'Alene and owned a mental health clinic for 26 years. They raised their children in this community and now their grandchildren live here and attend Coeur d'Alene public schools. Tom appreciates the quality of life he has been blessed with here and his candidacy is all about ensuring that quality remains for future generations.
