Update for Wednesday, March 5:
Last chance to join Progressive Diners for a discussion on the topic: Big Government Republican Style, Authority and Control - Who Has It and Who Should Have It?
It will deal with how the Republicans advocate local control and small government unless the opposite serves their interests. Examples are the State over-riding the local decision to ban guns on college campuses and also over-riding Coeur d Alene’s anti-discrimination ordinance.
Jerry and Diane Shriner will lead the discussion of this fascinating topic.
At this meeting, we will try something new. Our attendance has maxed out the venue at Seasons. Therefore, we will take RSVP’s on a first come, first served basis to a max of 30 for this meeting. We currently have room for 10 more people so if you plan to attend, please let us know.
Please send an RSVP to Steve Moss if you plan to attend so he can get the room set up to accommodate everyone. Please arrive by 6:15 p.m. to get settled and order drinks and dinner.
